Many women just jump into marketing their businesses, deciding what to do as opportunities roll by them. You’ll receive far more bang for your buck if you take time to think of your marketing from a strategic perspective.

Spend a few minutes considering each of these five marketing questions.

Five-Question Marketing Plan

1. Who is your target market?

Be specific. For example, The Woman’s Advantage® Forum targets women in specific cities who own businesses that generate less than $1MM in annual revenue, but want to build them to the million-dollar level and beyond.

2. What is the purpose of your marketing?

What results are you going for? We want women to go to our website to find out about our Forum and sign up for a complimentary seminar.

3. What is your competitive advantage?

One of our competitive advantages is that member testimonials PROVE that we help women grow their businesses from zero to a million dollars in less than a year.

4. What marketing tactics will you use?

Ours include website, social media, written collateral, PR and video.

5. What is your budget?

Remember you have to spend money to make money, so be willing to spend on key elements that will represent your business such as your logo, website and business cards.
