Maggie Langrick, CEO, LifeTree Media

Maggie Langrick founded LifeTree Media Ltd in 2013 to fulfill a long-held dream to lead a company dedicated to aiding personal growth and conscious communication. A long-time fan of prescriptive non-fiction, Maggie believes passionately in the power of the written word to affect lives.

As a hybrid publishing company, LifeTree blends the best attributes of the traditional publishing and self-publishing models, serving self-financed non-fiction authors who want to retain control of their publishing project while gaining access to the mainstream retail market. Its editorial mandate is to publish books the help, heal and inspire, in categories ranging from business theory to self-help and motivational memoirs.

Maggie came to entrepreneurship after a 14-year career as a magazine and newspaper editor in London, England and Vancouver, Canada. Most recently, Maggie served as Arts and Life editor for the Vancouver Sun, western Canada’s largest newsroom. In her teens and early twenties, she had an all-too-brief but thoroughly enjoyable career as a film and television actress, under the name Margaret Langrick. She still can’t resist playing the room for laughs whenever she gets the chance.

Maggie lives in Vancouver, Canada and Los Angeles.
