Well, we blinked and missed the first six months of this year. It is GONE forever. But not to despair. If you learned something valuable during that time, then all is good.

Here are five things I’ve learned in the first six months of this year.

Five Things I’ve Learned So Far This Year

1. Don’t be afraid to try something new.

Even if it seems crazy at the time, if it’s not successful more often than not it will at least be fun.

2. Kill paperwork.

Don’t ask anyone to do more than is absolutely necessary. And just because it was needed two years ago doesn’t mean that it is now.

3. If you ask yourself to find three good things about something you’d otherwise call a “problem,” you will be able to come up with them.

I promise it’s true. Try it.

4. A lot of women HATE selling.

But it’s really just about asking good questions and listening to the answers. Oh yeah, then you’ve got to ask for the sale. That’s the part most women hate.

5. You can have fun with almost every experience in life.

You’ve just got to find the “fun angle.”
