The days of “If you build it they will come.” are long over. Your prospect has so many options that even getting their attention, much less their sale, can be like climbing a mountain. So your marketing offer has to hit home with them.

Here are five keys to a solid marketing offer.

Five Keys to a Great Marketing Offer

Your offer should be made to the right person.

I laugh when people tell me their product or service is for “everyone.” Who is the exact person you’re targeting? That is who your marketing offer should reach.

Your offer should be clear and simple.

Rather than providing 100 features, you need a few keys benefits.

Your offer should be convenient.

By “convenient” I mean a presentation in your prospect’s office or a bank down the road.

Your offer should be named.

Our offer is called “The Woman’s Advantage Referral Request Seminar.” With a name like this, the prospect should expect and receive tangible results.

Your offer should persuade the prospect to take action.

At the end of your presentation, the prospect should understand the next step and be ready to take it.
