Pamela Chatry’s Woman in the Spotlight Dinners are top notch. I appreciate Pamela’s ability to gather a professional group of like-minded business women who are all interested in connecting, learning and growing. Her speakers are powerful and they provide a wonderful blend of real-world business insights with personal heartfelt stories that every woman in business can relate to. It’s nice to know there is a community of high-caliber women to connect with in Vancouver.
You are doing an amazing job with the Women in the Spotlight dinners. It’s networking without really feeling like you are networking because all of the women are engaged in participating. Everyone is made to feel welcome. On top of everything else, the speakers stories are inspirational. You leave feeling that you are not alone. Other women are going through or have gone through similar experiences. I will definitely continue to come.

Be inspired to take your business to the next level of success.

Veronica is a business lawyer with Ratcliff & Company LLP, in North Vancouver. Her practice spans most aspects of a business’s life, from initial set up, operational matters, licensing and brand protection, expansion, financing, and employee issues, all the way to estate planning, income splitting and preparing a business for sale. Her clients include small to mid-sized businesses and professional practices, First Nations from around the Province, and local, national and international not-for profits. Veronica works hard to provide clients with a trusted legal advisor who can combine technical skills and expertise with compassion, and the ability to listen.
Veronica has worked for federal and provincial government agencies, and in private practice for many years. Along the way she stopped and asked whether what looked to the outside world as a very successful life - actually was so for her. Who measured success? Was this truly her authentic life? In answering those questions she transformed her life, becoming in the process, a better lawyer, parent and all-round more fulfilled person.
Veronica is currently on the executive of the National Women’s Lawyer’s Forum, Chair of the North Shore Women’s Centre, and member of the Canadian Bar Association’s Children’s Law Committee. She has been an active participant in the WLF mentoring program, Access ProBono and SOGIC. Veronica has been Chair of the North Shore Youth Justice and Family Court Committee, and on the executive of the Gifted Children’s Association, and Mothers of Multiples. She is also an avid runner, and member of Vancouver Frontrunners, cyclist, swimmer, snowshoer and very frequent user of the fantastic North Shore trails.

My 17-year-old daughter was absolutely stunned at the quality of the speakers at your recent Women in the Spotlight event. She was over the moon with excitement when she got home, and has continued to refer to this evening almost daily since, as well as quoting stories and experiences that were told. She has begun to position herself to aspire to become an inspiration to others. Thank you so much Pamela for organizing such a successful and impactful event!!
